The way out of the crisis

Vaccines are the best weapon against the Corona-virus. They are the most effective solution to avoid a harsh fall and winter.

Many residents have already been completely vaccinated. They all took responsibility – for themselves and for their fellow human beings. The positive effects of the vaccines are also being felt in hospitals and in the number of deaths.

And yet, every fourth citizen in this country still has not been vaccinated. The majority of newly infected people are not vaccinated. A very large proportion of patients in the intensive care units and hospitals are also not vaccinated. In addition, the vaccine protects against a serious course of disease.

Luxembourg has no vaccination obligation. The decision to vaccinate remains open to everyone. The government, however, has a responsibility towards the general public. To leave this crisis behind, the vaccine rate must continue to rise.

The government has made great efforts to make vaccinations as easily accessible as possible: without an appointment at the Victor Hugo Hall or in the vaccination bus, or at one of the approximately 250 doctors who vaccinate in their cabinet. Vaccines are and remain the best remedy against the Corona-virus!
