Strong support for the new DP leadership

At the first in-person National Congress in three years, DP members elected a new party leadership at the national and district level in the very well attended Centre Atert in Bertrange. Confidence in the candidates was particularly high.

The new Party President Lex Delles was elected yesterday with 98.95% of the votes.

The new Secretary-General Carole Hartmann received an approval rating of 97.91%.

Max Hahn will be the First Vice-President. Marc Hansen and Claude Lamberty will be the other Vice-Presidents. Myriam Feyder was elected the DP’s new Treasurer.

The Congress was also an opportunity to express a very big “thank you” to the outgoing DP President Corinne Cahen after her seven years in office. A term during which our party made great achievements. A presidency during which the DP continued to modernise and organise itself. This provides a solid foundation on which our new party leadership can build to successfully navigate the upcoming local and parliamentary elections.
