Protected cultural heritage in the PAG

The municipalities may and should register their cultural heritage worthy of protection in the general development plan. The Service of Sites and Monuments has submitted its proposals to all municipalities, but some municipalities ignore a large part of these recommendations. Now a ranking has been published, which the Minister of Home Affairs mentioned in a recent RTL interview. On this subject, our MP André Bauler asked some questions to the Minister of the Home Affairs as well as to the Minister of Culture.

« An engem rezenten Interview op RTL huet d’Madamm Inneministesch eng Lëscht an d’Kamera gehalen, op där d’Gemengen der Rei no klasséiert gi wat hiren Engagement am Denkmalschutz ugeet. Dëse Ranking baséiert op de Recommandatioune vu Sites et monuments an der Unzuel vu Gebaier, déi vun de Gemengen tatsächlech an de PAGen agedroe sinn.

An deem Kontext wollt ech der Madamm Inneministesch an der Madamm Kulturministesch folgend Froe stellen:

  1. Wat sinn déi verschidde Kategorië vu Monumenter, déi an de Bebauungspläng klasséiert gi sinn? Gehéieren dozou och Dréchemaueren, Skulpturen, Träch, Prëssiounskapellen, an aner Monumenter?
  2. Wéi gëtt den Engagement vun den eenzele Gemenge gemooss; no wéi enge Krittären ass dee Ranking, vun deem d’Madamm Inneministesch geschwat huet, opgestallt ginn?
  3. Wéi gesäit d’Sensibiliséierungsaarbecht vun der Regierung a Saachen Denkmalschutz vis-à-vis vun de Gemengen aus? Gëtt et eng Zesummenaarbecht mam Syvicol a Form vun engem praktesche Guide mat Rotschléi a Proposen („Leitfaden“) fir d’Schäffen- a Gemengeréit? »

The Liberal MPs asked, among other things, whether it would not make more sense to pay all the Red Cross’ fees for the blood donation service instead of setting up a public institution?
And what will happen to the blood donation room planned for the new Red Cross headquarters in Howald if the Red Cross no longer takes over the blood donation service?

DP MPs Corinne Cahen and Carole Hartmann have asked the Minister of Health whether the state should not increase its financial contribution, whether Luxembourg always has sufficient blood reserves and whether the Red Cross should continue to organise blood donations in the country on its own.
