On 3 July 2023, the local council of Mamer, which was elected on 11 June 2023, met for the first time. Beforehand, the members of the new municipal council were formally sworn in. Among them were DP councillors Jesscia Klopp and Sven Bindels. The DP was able to win one more seat on the local council in the local elections, increasing its total from one to two. Jessica is entering the local council for the first time, while Sven was elected for the first time in 2017.
