Are further roadworks necessary on the N12 in Préizerdaul after its recent renewal?

After the renewal of the N12 in Préizerdaul in recent years, it turns out that in some places the road is still in a bad state. DP MP André Bauler therefore asked if it was planned to carry out additional repair work on these sites.

D‘Traversée duerch de Préizerdaul (N12) ass an de leschte Joeren erneiert ginn. Et stellt sech elo eraus, datt en Deel vun dëser Duerchgangsstrooss am Ausgang vu Platen, eng vun den Uertschaften aus der Gemeng Préizerdaul, an engem schlechten Zoustand ass. Effektiv schéngt den Ënnergrond respektiv d’Fondatioun vun dëser Strooss plazeweis agesackt ze sinn.

An deem Kader wollt ech dem Här Minister fir Mobilitéit an ëffentlech Aarbechten folgend Froe stellen:

  1. Wéini gouf de Belag an den Ënnergrond vun dësem Tronçon erneiert? Ass also nach Garantie op dësem Deel? Ass de Schued schonn estiméiert ginn?
  2. Envisagéiert de Ministère op dësem Streckenofschnëtt Reparatur- oder Erneierungsaarbechten duerchféieren ze loossen?

Answer

Déi lescht gréisser Aarbechten an der Uertsduerchfaart vum Préizerdaul (N12) goufen an 3 Lousen duerchgefouert. D’Lousen 1 an 2 konnten 2011 respektiv 2013 ausgefouert ginn. D’Aarbechte vum Lous 3 goufe wéinst groussen Investitiounskäschten um Leitungsnetz, zesumme mat der Gemeng op 2026 reportéiert. Dobäi ass ze erwänen, dass all d’Aarbechte vun der Neigestaltung vun der Uertsduerchfaart viséiere fir d’Vitess vum Duerchgangsverkéier ze reduzéieren a sou d’Sécherheet op de betraffene Streckenofschnëtter ze erhéijen.

Betreffend dem vum honorabelen Deputéierten erwäänten Streckenofschnëtt am Ausgang vu Platen, ass envisagéiert Erneierungsaarbechten um Stroossenopbau duerchzeféieren, fir an Zukunft esou Asackungen ze vermeiden. De Projet fir dës Aarbechten ze exekutéiere gëtt am Moment vun der Stroossebauverwaltung ausgeschafft.

Well awer d’Méiglechkeete fir den ëffentleche Verkéier wärend den Aarbechten um concernéierte Streckenofschnëtt ëmzeleede begrenzt sinn a well zudeem d’Gemeng an enger Säitestrooss (d’rue Fontaine, déi als Ëmleedunge genotzt kéint ginn) deemnächst een eegene Projet ëmsetzt, kennen d’Erneierungsaarbechten um Stroosenopbau réischt Ufanks 2023 ausgefouert ginn.

How long are the waiting times at the “Travel Clinic”?

If you are travelling to tropical regions, you can get advice and be vaccinated against various diseases at the CHL’s “Travel Clinic”. However, the waiting times at this clinic are currently said to be quite long.
DP MPs Dr Gérard Schockmel and Gilles Baum have asked the Minister of Health how many patients have been seen at the “Travel Clinic” over the last ten years, how waiting times have developed over this period and whether it would not make sense to make it possible to book appointments online, as is the case with many other CHL services.

Medical referrals abroad

Since 1 June 2025, doctors have to fill out a new form if they want to send a patient abroad for treatment. The doctor must now indicate whether or not the services can be provided in Luxembourg within an ‘acceptable period’. If the doctor indicates that the services could actually be provided in Luxembourg, the referral request is automatically rejected.
DP MP Dr Gérard Schockmel has asked the Minister of Health whether the mere reduction to the ‘acceptable period’, without taking into account the quality of care, might not lead to unjustified rejections and whether the new form might not force doctors to provide false information in order to guarantee their patients the best possible care.
